Idaho first lady prioritizes school safety

MERIDIAN — In her capacity as honorary chairperson, Idaho’s First Lady Lori Otter will launch the “See, Tell, Now!” campaign for the Idaho Office of School Safety and Security Aug. 23. She will also announce Gov. Butch Otter’s proclamation that September will herafter be designated as School Safety and Security Awareness Month throughout the state.

This past Saturday I entered my first ultra marathon at Frater Lake, Wash. It is a veteran memorial for Emory Corwine who was a special operations instructor at Fairchild Air Force Base. He was killed in a motorcycle accident July 12, 2012. So the race kicks off at 6:12 a.m. in the morning.
