Bonners Ferry High School’s new cheer coach Christina Gaffield hopes to bring stability to the team after coaching turnover last year. Gaffield started volunteering as the squad’s coach last winter and has coached cheer across the county and the world when traveling as part of a military family.

Mt.Hall to open later due to construction
Due to summer maintenance and extensive construction over the summer, the first day of school for Mt. Hall Elementary will be on Sept. 12. Other schools in the Boundary County School District are starting Sept. 6.
