State Wrestling: Girls take third, five Badgers place
13 Badger boys wrestling qualified for state, with freshman heavyweight Taylor Dodd taking fourth. Bonners Ferry girls wrestling finished third at the Idaho All Girls wrestling state championship, senior Aubrey Wells (165) and freshman Eva Willis (185) taking second place.

he Lady Badgers won their third invite in a row scoring 222 points, with the host Timberlake Tigers taking second place, scoring 179 points in the 11 track meet.; boys scored 181.5 points, taking second to Timberlake’s 185.5 points.

Local youth hit the mats last weekend at the state championships and brought home six medals. Seven members of the Bonners Ferry Wrestling Club traveled to Shelley to wrestle in the USA Idaho Wrestling Folkstyle State Championships on Saturday, Dec. 1.
