Naples resident speaks out on fire department issues

I would like to start this letter saying that fire departments in communities are a good thing. Now! As far as the notice in the newspaper (legals) from Mount. Hall and Curley Creek Fire Department charging people a fee because they are not members of the fire department. There is nothing in the state code that allows them to charge you. So if you get a bill, I would challenge it. South Boundary Fire Department is another story, they cried for money. It became a tax based fire department. Tony Rohrwasser is the only one that gets paid 10,500. He doubled his pay to 21,000 before the ink dried on the first check. It seems to me that he uses the fire equipment and tax payers gas for personal reasons. I think that maybe a tax payer's audit should be done on receipts and records. Tony Rohrwasser seems to have the George W. Bush blank check problem. If any of this letter is wrong I am very sorry and I do apologize.
