BCRCC was open-minded, voted on record
Local media has been quick to allow Rep. Sauter to counter the vote of “No Confidence” by the Bonner County Republican Central Committee. Unfortunately, his droning blather put forth so many issues needing to be answered that 250 words cannot properly address and may take several letters to accomplish.
Sauter seems aligned with Idaho's Democrats
In the debate about Representative Sauter’s failure to accurately represent the Republicans of North Idaho, we seem to have forgotten that he was unable to garner support from even 40% of LD1 Republican voters in last year’s May primary.
Fighting for regulatory relief for Idaho farmers, ranchers
Federal agricultural-related regulation too often results in more time, more paperwork, more money, more ambiguity, more headaches and more stress for those working to get food on our tables without any real benefits for workers, consumers, taxpayers or the environment. Regulations should be carefully thought through and reviewed, with consideration of the farm families charged with integrating these policies into their operations. If the benefits do not considerably outweigh the costs, the regulation is outdated or just too heavy-handed, it should be scrapped.

Vote Bohachek, Colson to protect our freedoms
Today I cast my vote for Aaron Bohachek for Zone 3 Library Board. Boundary County residents deserve the right to decide for themselves what books they want to read. It is clear the other candidates don’t understand the purpose of the board and will use their positions to force their religious ideology on all library users, instead of preserving the rights and freedoms of citizens.

Do you ever stop and think just how lucky we are to have had all the new people move into Boundary County to save us from ourselves?
